The Village Administrator or his or her authorized representative shall cause surveys and investigations to be made of all industrial and other properties serviced by the public water supply where private, auxiliary or emergency water supplies, other than the public water supply, are known to exist or where such supplies are likely to exist. Such surveys and investigations shall be made a matter of public record and shall be repeated as often as the Administrator or his or her authorized representative deems necessary.
