§ 53.04  PRIVATE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS.
   (A)   Where a public sanitary or combined sewer is not available under the provisions of § 53.20(B), the building sewer shall be connected to a private sewage disposal system complying with all the requirements of the County Board of Health.
   (B)   Whenever a public sewer becomes available to a property served by a sewage disposal system, as provided in § 53.20(B), a direct connection shall be made to the public sewer in compliance with this chapter, and any septic tank, cesspool or similar private sewage disposal facility previously authorized shall be abandoned.
   (C)   The owner shall operate and maintain authorized private sewage disposal facilities in a sanitary manner, at all times, at no expense to the village.
   (D)   Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed as interfering with additional requirements that may be imposed by the State Health Department.
