A. No person shall drive or operate a motor vehicle on any street within the corporate limits of the city at a rate of speed greater than twenty five (25) miles per hour or on any alley within the corporate limits of the city at a rate of speed greater than ten (10) miles per hour, unless otherwise posted for different speed pursuant to resolution and order of the city council and mayor, or as set forth below.
B. The speed limits for all vehicles on various segments of U.S. Highway 95 that are within the city limits of the city of Plummer shall be set and posted by the Idaho transportation department, division of highways.
C. The speed limits for all vehicles on various segments of State Highway 5 that are within the city limits of the city of Plummer shall be set and posted by the Idaho transportation department, division of highways.
D. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of an infraction and, upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (Ord. 436, 4-28-2016)
