3-1-7: PENALTIES RELATING TO DOGS:
Any person owning, harboring, keeping or having in his possession or under his control any dog without having obtained for said dog a license from the city for the current year or without having said metal check for the current year attached to the collar worn by said dog or having failed to comply with any other provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than twenty five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00), together with the cost of prosecution, and shall be compelled to obtain a license for said dog for the current year. Each act of noncompliance shall constitute a separate violation. (Ord. 296, 10-22-1991)
