All licenses shall be granted by the mayor and city council for a period of one year beginning March 1 and ending the last day of February. A full year's license fee shall be collected after March 1. The city council shall grant or deny the application within sixty (60) days of the time it is filed with the city clerk. Whenever the mayor and city council deny an application, they shall specify in writing: (Ord. 347, 12-13-2001)
A. The statutes, ordinances and standards used in evaluating the application.
B. The reason for the denial.
C. The actions, if any, that the applicant could take to obtain the license, transfer or renewal thereof.
All licenses shall be issued by the city clerk. (1993 Code)
