A. Past Due Accounts: Water, sewer and garbage services shall be terminated at twelve o'clock (12:00) noon three (3) days after the electric services is disconnected for any property for which the billing for such services is past due. Water may be disconnected if a sewer leak is detected on the property owner's sewer system.
B. Late Fee: All accounts thirty (30) days past due shall be charged a late fee of one percent (1%) per month with a minimum of ten dollars ($10.00) per month.
C. Returned Check Fee: A returned check fee shall be added to all accounts for which a check is returned from the bank for any reason not the fault of the city. The fee shall be set by resolution of the Plummer city council, and such fee shall apply separately to each check which is returned from the bank. The city can refuse to accept future personal checks from customers whose check has been returned by the bank for any reason not the fault of the city. (Ord. 442, 2-9-2017)
