6-2-12: PROHIBITED ACTS:
   A.   Tampering With Meters 1 : If any user of electrical energy or any other person, in any manner, tampers with any meter in such manner that such meter does not measure or report the full amount of electric energy supplied to a customer, he shall guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code.
   B.   Resale of Electric Energy: No electric energy sold to any user may be resold.
   C.   Interference with Service: If any user uses electric energy in any manner that causes fluctuations that interfere with the normal use of electricity by other users, such user shall be required to install equipment to remedy such fluctuations at his own expense, and upon his failure to do so, the service may be discontinued to such user.
   D.   Damage to Property: Anyone who shall, in any manner, injure any poles, wires, insulators or transformers or, in any manner, tamper with or injure any of the equipment or apparatus of the electric light system of the city shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code.  (Ord. 443, 2-9-2017; amd.
