A. Application for the use of electrical energy shall be made to the city clerk, on approved forms. The applicant is responsible for the payment of all charges, including the installation, connection, use and disconnect of any electrical service.
B. All applications must also be signed by the owner of the real property to be supplied with electrical service. By signing said application, the owner of the real property agrees and consents to, and is responsible for, payment of any and all charges for electrical service, including, but not limited to, installation, connection, monthly use and disconnect charges.
C. Electrical power shall not be provided to any property except through a watt hour meter installed by the city.
D. Electric services shall be connected and continued so long as there are no arrearages owing for any utilities provided to the property, including electric, water, sewer and garbage collection services. (Ord. 443, 2-9-2017; amd. Ord. 463, 12-10-2020)
