§ 34.01 ESTABLISHED.
   A city court is established for the city. The City Judge shall establish regular sessions of the city court. On judicial days, the court must be open for all business, civil and criminal. On non-judicial days, as defined by law, the court may transact such business as allowed by law. The jurisdiction of the city court, for civil or criminal proceedings, shall be as defined and allowed by the law of the state.
