§ 33.17 SUSPENSION AUTHORITY.
   The Mayor may suspend the Chief, Assistant Chief, any other officer or any firefighter or member of the Fire Department for neglect of duty or a violation of any of the rules or bylaws of the Department. The Chief may suspend the Assistant Chief, any other officer or any firefighter or member of the Department for like cause. The Assistant Chief may suspend any officer of lesser rank, or any non-officer firefighter or member of the Department for like cause.
