§ 31.50 APPOINTMENT.
   The Mayor shall appoint, with the approval of the Council, a city attorney, who shall hold office for two years unless suspended or removed as provided by law. The City Attorney, to be appointed, shall be a person who is licensed to practice as an attorney in the state.
