For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ACCESSORY STRUCTURE. Intended to refer to either an accessory “structure” or an accessory “building”.
BONA FIDE PRINCIPAL USE. A structure or building shall be considered to serve as a BONA FIDE PRINCIPAL USE when its primary function, by current and past use, is proven to be established and currently active on a good faith basis. For a dwelling to be considered a principal structure or building with an established and bona fide use, it must be actually occupied by one or more natural persons who in good faith are permanent and full-time residents of the dwelling.
IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT. To be IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT, two lots must abut each other or lie side-by-side, by having a common boundary line, and must front on a common street or, in the case of a corner lot, on at least one common street.
PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE. Intended to refer to a principal, main or primary structure or building.
PRINCIPAL USE. Intended to refer to a principal, main or primary use.
