§ 151.030 SAFETY MEASURES AT WORK SITE.
   (A)   All excavations in publicly dedicated places shall be sufficiently and properly barricaded to prevent motor vehicle and pedestrian traffic from interfering with or endangering those working on the project and for the safety and convenience of the traveling public. Where necessary, signs shall be placed to warn passersby and to direct traffic around or away from the site. Such signs shall comply with applicable uniform signage standards and requirements.
   (B)   Appropriate measures shall be taken by those engaged in the excavation work to prevent unpermitted access to equipment and to keep children or unauthorized parties away from the project area at all times.
