(A) The following codes and standards, as promulgated, approved, and published by the International Conference of Building Officials, are hereby adopted and incorporated herein by reference. A printed copy of each code and standard herein adopted is on file in the office of the Finance Officer:
(1) The International Building Code, 2012 Edition, including Chapters 1 - 10, 12 - 26, and 30 - 35, and Appendices C and I, as published by the International Code Council, subject to such revisions and exceptions as may be provided by ordinance;
(2) The International Residential Code, 2012 Edition, including Chapters 1 - 23 and Appendix G, as published by the International Code Council, subject to such revisions and exceptions as may be provided by ordinance; and
(3) The International Existing Building Code, 2012 Edition, including Chapter A6 of Appendix A, and Resource A, Guidelines of Fire Ratings of Archaic Materials and Assemblies, as published by the International Code Council, subject to such revisions and exceptions as may be provided by ordinance; said code as heretofore adopted shall be an alternate set of regulations governing the repair, alteration, change of occupancy, addition and relocation of existing buildings, including historic buildings, all as provided therein, and for issuance of permits therefore.
