§ 150.05 SIGNS AND OUTDOOR ADVERTISING.
   Other than utility fixtures and holiday decorations, no sign, awning or display shall be suspended, hanged or placed so that the same shall hang over any part of a street or sidewalk used for vehicular or pedestrian travel unless written application for a permit is made to the Building Inspector, and said Inspector grants a permit therefor. The Building Inspector shall take into consideration that no such sign, awning or display shall be suspended, hanged or placed in any manner that may endanger the life, health, property and public safety, and there shall be compliance with all provisions of the National Building Code relating to signs and outdoor advertising.
