(A) As mandated by SDCL § 10-52-2, any revenues received from the second 1% tax under this subchapter may be used for only one or more of the following: capital improvements; land acquisition; the funding of public ambulances and medical emergency response vehicles; public hospitals or nonprofit hospitals with 50 or fewer beds and other public health care facilities or nonprofit health care facilities with 50 or fewer licensed beds; and debt retirement.
(B) For the purpose of the subchapter, the use of revenues received from the second 1% of tax, as levied by this subchapter, shall be limited to the following: capitol improvements on streets, city buildings, swimming pool, cemetery, parks and the funding of public ambulances and medical emergency response vehicles and/or firefighting vehicles and equipment and debt retirement.
