(A) It shall be unlawful for any minor under the age of 18 years to be abroad upon any public place between the hours of 10:30 p.m. in the evenings and 5:00 a.m. in the morning of the following day unless accompanied by some adult person having him or her in charge or unless departing from an authorized school function or departing from work, and any such minor who shall violate any of the provisions of this section shall be subject to arrest by any police officer without process and shall be taken, and shall be placed in the custody of the Juvenile Court of the jurisdiction.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any parent, guardian or person having the custody or control or any minor under the age of 16 years to permit said minor to be abroad in or upon any public place between the hours of 10:30 p.m. in the evening and 5:00 a.m. in the morning of the following day, unless such minor be accompanied by a parent or guardian or unless departing from an authorized school function or departing from work.
