The City Council shall have power to cancel any license issued by the city for failure of the licensee to comply with any ordinance or regulation of the city or state law respecting such license or the manner of exercise thereof or for other good cause after hearing upon notice to the licensee. Upon conviction of a violation of any ordinance of the city by a licensee relating to the exercise of such license, the court, in addition to other penalties imposed, may enter its judgement cancelling such license.
