Interments and disinterments are also subject to the laws of this state. Nothing in this chapter shall conflict with said laws, and such regulations herein provided are in addition to and not supplementary or included in the said laws of the state. The purpose of this chapter is to give the city control over interments and disinterments in Mizpah Cemetery. No interment or disinterment of any body will be permitted in any lot until full compliance is made with all laws and ordinances regarding burials then in force.
