In order that the Street Department may clear the streets and highways in the city of snow on its streets, to provide traffic on such streets and school bus access and egress to the city school, it is hereby provided that in the event of a snowfall of two inches or more, it shall be unlawful to park, or leave parked any motor vehicle on Main Street from Commerce Street to Third Street, and First and Second Streets east of Main Street to Walnut Street and to include Walnut Street from First Street north to Third Street. The city is authorized to place signs on a block or blocks within the city giving notice that such block or blocks are snow routes and that snow removal is or will be made in the near future, and that it shall be unlawful to park any motor vehicle upon any of said streets, or highways designated, or other streets where said signs have been placed. Such signs shall be placed at the ends of each block to be cleaned.
