(A) All full-time employees duly hired hereunder, who shall have been employed by the city for one continuous full year, shall be entitled to 80 hours vacation with full pay, first year, and 120 hours after six to ten years of employment and receive 72 hours of sick leave with full pay. Unused vacation time may be accumulated from year to year up to 160 hours. Sick leave accumulates at 2.76 hours per pay period. Unused sick leave may be accumulated up to 480 hours. It is the policy of the city that upon separation from city service, whether voluntary or involuntary, 25% of accrued leave shall be paid.
