§ 71.02 RAILROAD WARNING SIGNALS MUST BE OBEYED.
   (A)   Whenever any person driving a vehicle approaches a highway and railway grade crossing and a clearly visible and positive signal gives warning of the immediate approach of a railway train or a car, it shall be unlawful for the driver of the vehicle to fail to bring the vehicle to a complete stop before traversing such grade crossing.
   (B)   It shall be the duty of the drivers of vehicles upon the highway to bring such vehicles to a full stop before reaching any grade, railroad or a crossing, and before crossing the same, to ascertain cases, even when no signal is giving warning:
      (1)   In the case of vehicles of any kind carrying school children, passengers for hire, explosives or inflammable liquids; and
      (2)   In the case of all motor vehicles at every crossing designated by stop signs.
