The Town Council specifically acknowledges the existence of a law adopted by the General Assembly of the state which regulates the imposition of impact fee ordinances by municipal corporations within the state. It is the intent of the town to comply with such legislation, and this subchapter shall be construed in all respects to be consistent with the Act. The substantive and procedural requirements of I.C. 36-7-4-1300 et seq. shall control in the event of conflicts, which are unintended by the Town Council.
