The purpose of this chapter shall be to implement the procedures contained in I.C. 9-22-1 which govern the removal, storage and disposition of abandoned vehicles and therefore, I.C. 9-22-1 is hereby adopted and incorporated as a part of this chapter, except for any provision inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter.
