§ 51.195 PORTION OF WATER NOT ENTERING SEWERAGE SYSTEM.
   If a user utilizing more than 20,000 gallons of water per day can substantiate that a portion of the water does not and cannot enter the town’s sewerage system, the Council may consider flow data submitted to determine the portion of the measured water to be used in determining the appropriate sewer charges or approve a technique of flow measurement for determining wastewater discharged to the sewerage system. Facilities and equipment utilized for flow measurement shall be installed and maintained in a manner approved by the town at the owner’s expense. The town shall have the right to access the user’s property and the flow measurement equipment to verify its accuracy and obtain any samples deemed necessary by the town.
