The P: Park Districts are established to promote and maintain the development of recreational opportunities within the town. The development of new parks or the major expansion of existing parks within the P: Park Districts shall be subject to the approval of a Park Master Plan to assure that the development of a particular park, whether proposed for active or passive recreational opportunities, is compatible with nearby residential neighborhoods.
