351.16 COMMERCIAL AND RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARKING.
   (a)   Definitions. The following words and phrases when used in this section shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this subsection (a):
      (1)   “Bus” means every motor vehicle designed for carrying more than nine passengers and used for the transportation of persons other than in a ridesharing arrangement as defined in Ohio R.C. 4511.01, and every motor vehicle, automobile for hire or funeral car, other than a taxicab or motor vehicle used in a ridesharing arrangement, designed and used for the transportation of persons for compensation.
      (2)   “Commercial tractor” means every motor vehicle having motive power designed or used for drawing other vehicles and not so constructed as to carry any load thereon, or designed or used for drawing other vehicles while carrying a portion of such other vehicles, or the load thereon, or both.
      (3)   “Recreational vehicle” means a vehicular portable structure designed and constructed to be used as a temporary dwelling for travel, recreational and vacation uses and being classed as follows:
         A.   “Travel trailer” means a nonself-propelled recreational vehicle not exceeding an overall length of thirty-five feet, exclusive of bumper and tongue or coupling, and includes a tent-type fold-out camping trailer as defined in divisions (S) of Ohio R.C. 4517.01.
         B.   “Motor home” means a self-propelled recreational vehicle constructed with permanently installed facilities for cold storage, cooking and consuming of food, and for sleeping.
         C.   “Truck camper” means a nonself-propelled recreational vehicle, without wheels for road use, and designed to be placed upon and attached to a motor vehicle. Truck camper does not include truck covers which consist of walls and roof but do not have floors and facilities for using it as a dwelling.
      (4)   “Semi-trailer” means every vehicle designed or used for carrying persons or property with another and separate motor vehicle so that in operation a part of its own weight or that of its load, or both, rests upon and is carried by another vehicle.
      (5)   “Trailer” means every vehicle designed or used for carrying persons or property wholly on its own structure and for being drawn by a motor vehicle, including any such vehicle when formed by or operated as a combination of a semitrailer and a vehicle of the dolly type, such as that commonly known as a trailer dolly, and a vehicle used to transport agricultural produce or agricultural production materials between a local place of storage or supply and the farm when drawn or towed on a public street or highway at a speed greater than twenty-five miles per hour.
      (6)   “Truck” means every motor vehicle, except trailers and semitrailers, designed and used to carry property, and designed by the manufacturer to carry a load of more than one ton.
   (b)   Limitations of Truck, Bus, Tractor, Trailer, Semitrailer and Recreational Vehicle Parking. No owner or driver of a truck, bus, commercial tractor, trailer, semitrailer, or recreational vehicle shall park or stand such vehicle on any street for a period longer than one hour. However, this section shall not apply to trucks or trailers used for conveying the necessary tools and materials to premises where labor, using such tools and materials, is to be performed during the actual time of parking such trucks or trailers, nor to motor trucks or buses conveying passengers to any public meeting, assembly, church, convention or entertainment during the actual session of any such public meeting, assembly, church, convention or entertainment, nor to the actual time during which a truck, commercial tractor, trailer, or semitrailer is being loaded or unloaded or used to deliver or hoist property or merchandise for completion of delivery.
