(a) Any person directly affected by a decision of the Village Zoning Inspector or a notice of order issued under this Code Section shall have the right to appeal to the Board of Zoning Appeals within twenty (20) days of the date of the notice or order by filing a written notice with the Village Zoning Inspector and the Board of Zoning Appeals.
(b) An application for appeal shall be based on a claim that the true intent of this Code or the rules legally adopted hereunder have been incorrectly interpreted, the provisions of the Code do not fully apply, the requirements of this Code are adequately satisfied by other means, and/or the strict application of any requirement of this Code would cause an undue and unnecessary hardship. The cost for the application for appeal under this Section is listed under Section 1135.04(f) and is applicable for each offense for which an appeal is requested.
(c) The Board of Zoning Appeals shall hear such appeal in accordance with the provisions of Section 1138.04 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Plain City, Ohio.
