1197.08 EXEMPT LIGHTING.
   The following types of lighting are exempt from the provisions of this chapter:
   (a)   Temporary Lighting For Events. Temporary lighting for circuses, carnivals, fairs and other events that do not constitute a light trespass to neighboring property is exempt from this title during the duration of the event.
   (b)   Seasonal Lighting. Seasonal lighting used for the celebration of commonly acknowledged holidays and special events, so long as it does not constitute a light trespass.
   (c)   Airport And Emergency Lighting. Lighting for runways at airports, illumination of towers and other tall structures for aircraft warnings and other aeronautical lighting is exempt from this title. Lights used during emergencies or by police, fire, public works and public utility personnel in their official duties are exempt from this title.
   (d)   Public Recreational Lighting. Public recreational lighting such as parks, schools and Village property. (Ord. 05-08. Passed 2-25-08.)
