The Village Administrator may approve the removal of a major tree if one of the following applies. Trees removed under the following conditions are exempt from the replacement requirements of Section 1189.07:
(a) The tree is dead, damaged, or diseased as determined by a licensed arborist.
(b) The tree is an undesirable species in its present location, as determined by the Village Administrator (or designee) and Tree Commission.
(c) The tree poses potential danger to life or property.
