(a) General. The following four districts - Corridor Development Overlay District, Central Development Overlay District, Wellhead Protection Overlay District, and Resource Protection Overlay District are herein designated as overlay districts. These districts are superimposed over other districts; their requirements are accumulative with those of the underlying district in an additive manner. In the event of a conflict between the requirements of the overlay zone and those of the zone over which it is superimposed, as related to a location situated in both districts, the more stringent requirement of the two districts shall govern unless specified to the contrary except special instances in the Central Overlay District when the less stringent of the requirements may apply, as determined by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
(b) Relation to the Zoning District Map. The inclusion of land in an overlay district shall be in addition to the zoning district as established on the Zoning District Map. Nothing herein is intended to amend, modify, or otherwise change the zoning district boundaries as shown on the Zoning District Map. (Ord. 05-08. Passed 2-25-08.)
