(a) Division of Land. All land in the Municipality is placed into a zoning district as is shown on the Zoning District Map which is hereby adopted and declared to be a part of the Zoning Ordinance.
(1) Final authority. The Zoning District Map, as amended from time to time, shall be the final authority for the current zoning district status of land under the jurisdiction of the Zoning Ordinance.
(2) Land not otherwise designated. All land under the Zoning Ordinance and not designated or otherwise included within another zoning district on the Zoning District Map shall be included in the RU Rural District.
(b) Identification of the Zoning District Map. The Zoning District Map, with any amendments made thereon, shall be identified by the signatures of the Mayor, the members of Council, the Village Fiscal Officer, and the Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission under the following words:
