3-1-6: ADOPTION OF BYLAWS:
The fire department shall be governed by bylaws to be adopted by the department and approved by the council, provided that such bylaws shall be consistent with this chapter and all other provisions of this code pertaining thereto. (Ord. 891, 5-16-1963)
