The members of the building board of appeals shall be appointed by the mayor and shall receive the approval of the majority of the city council. The initial terms shall be one member for two (2) years, two (2) members for three (3) years, and two (2) members for four (4) years; and thereafter each member shall be appointed for a four (4) year term. The alternate member shall be appointed for a four (4) year term. Vacancies shall be filled for the unexpired term of the member affected. (Ord. 1528, 9-26-1995; amd. Ord. 1642, 6-14-2011)
