9-8-2-1: RESTRICTIONS WHILE RIDING ROLLER SKATES AND SKATEBOARDS:
It shall be unlawful for any person upon roller skates or riding upon a skateboard, coaster, or similar device, to go upon any public street within the city limits in violation of the following restrictions:
   (A)   Such use shall not occur between sunset and sunrise.
   (B)   Persons upon roller skates or riding upon a skateboard, coaster, or similar device, shall ride as near to the right side of the roadway as practicable.
   (C)   No person upon roller skates or riding upon a skateboard, coaster, or similar device, shall attach the same or himself to any other vehicle.
   (D)   Persons upon roller skates or riding upon a skateboard, coaster, or similar device, shall yield the right of way to all motor vehicles and pedestrians.
   (E)   No person shall be on roller skates or ride upon a skateboard, coaster, or similar device, when approaching or upon the crest of a grade or a curve in a street where the view of such person is obstructed within such distance as to create a hazard from an approaching motor vehicle.
   (F)   No person shall be on roller skates or shall ride upon a skateboard, coaster, or similar device, on any street or sidewalk in a business district. The term "business district" shall have the meaning given to it by section 235 of the California Vehicle Code.
   (G)   Except as herein provided, any person upon roller skates or riding a skateboard, coaster, or similar device, shall be subject to all of the duties applicable to the driver of a vehicle under the California Vehicle Code, except those provisions which, by their very nature, can have no application.
