The council may designate areas in public parking facilities or on street for motorcycle only parking. These areas shall be designated by a sign indicating motorcycles only, or for on-street parking, a picture of a motorcycle on the roadway indicating motorcycle parking. For on-street parking, lines shall be painted indicating individual spaces for on-street motorcycle parking.
It shall be unlawful and a violation of the provisions of this title for any person to park any vehicle other than a motorcycle, in a motorcycle parking zone. (Ord. 1701, 12-10-2019)
