The city shall remove its police and fire alarm circuits or any similar municipal equipment at its own expense from all poles required to be removed hereunder in ample time to enable the owner or user of such poles to remove the same within the time specified in the ordinance enacted pursuant to section 8-12-2 of this chapter.
