The citizens of Placerville have a right to be free of aggressive solicitations within the city of Placerville. This chapter shall address and define aggressive solicitations and solicitors within the city limits. The actions of the aggressive solicitors can lead a person to feel intimidated, fearful of bodily harm, or damage to property. No soliciting shall occur within fifteen feet (15') in front of a bank, ATM, or check cashing business, near a motor vehicle traveling on the road, any public transportation vehicles, and within fifteen feet (15') of a gas station.
