The chief of police is charged with the responsibility of enforcing the provisions of this chapter, and to that end may inspect any and all types of classes of businesses which by this chapter are licensed and regulated. The chief of police or subordinate personnel may enter any place of business which is subject to the provisions of this chapter for the purpose of inspection for compliance with this chapter.
