§ 34.09 HOLIDAYS.
   (A)   All employees of the city, except for city employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement, shall be entitled to 12 paid holidays per year, as follows:
      (1)   New Year's Day.
      (2)   President's Day.
      (3)   Good Friday.
      (4)   Memorial Day.
      (5)   Independence Day.
      (6)   Labor Day.
      (7)   Veteran's Day.
      (8)   Thanksgiving Day.
      (9)   The day after Thanksgiving Day.
      (10)   The day before Christmas Day.
      (11)   Christmas Day.
      (12)   The employee's birthday.

   (B)   Each employee shall take his or her birthday holiday within the calendar week in which it actually falls.

   (C)   In the event a holiday falls on a Saturday, the holiday shall be observed on the Friday immediately before the actual date of the holiday.

   (D)   In the event a holiday falls on a Sunday, the holiday shall be observed on the Monday immediately after the holiday or, if the Monday also is a holiday, on the Tuesday immediately following the holiday.

   (E)   All departments will close for holidays on the dates the City Hall is closed.
