§ 34.06 WORK WEEK.
   (A)   The employees of the city shall be on a 40-hour work week, except for the City Hall employees, who will be on a 35-hour work week, the City Hall being open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday each week, and except for city employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
   (B)   The head of each department of the city shall have the authority to schedule the working hours and days for each employee under his or her direction, except for city employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement, according to the necessity, desirability, and nature of the work concerned.
   (C)   City employees are subject to be on call for over 40 hours in the event of an emergency.
