(A) The city shall employ or provide a licensed engineer to review the subdivision plat to certify that the plat is in compliance with all applicable city, state and federal regulations.
(B) No plat of any subdivision shall be entitled to be recorded in the County Recorder’s Office or have any validity until it shall have been approved in the manner prescribed by this chapter.
(C) All plats of subdivisions, after the plats have been submitted and approved as provided in this chapter, shall be copied upon a book of plats of the city and shall be filed among the records.
(D) The salary and all costs, including any attorneys and/or engineers fees, incurred by the city in connection with the approval of the plat shall be paid by the developer or subdivider.
