A recording and filing fee of $10, payable to the city, shall be presented the City Clerk upon final approval of a plat submitted pursuant to this chapter. Three copies of the plat meeting the requirements of County Recorder of Deeds also shall be presented the Clerk. One copy of the plat shall be recorded by the Clerk, one shall be returned to the owner and one shall be kept in the city files.
