§ 150.21 BOND.
   (A)   Each person applying for a permit required by this subchapter shall submit a cash bond in an amount determined by the Mayor, conditioned on the applicant's compliance with all the provisions of this subchapter and agreeing to pay and hold the city harmless from any claim which may be made against it by reason of the occupation of any street, alley, sidewalk or other public place by the building or structure moved.
   (B)   The cash bond required by division (A) above shall be in substantially the following form:
“Know all men by these presents:
   “That I,           , as principal, am firmly bound to the City of Pittsfield, an Illinois Municipal Corporation, in the penal sum of $     , conditioned upon the faithful performance by the principal of all the provisions of the subchapter “Moving Buildings” of Chapter 150 of this code, including the holding of the city harmless from any claim which may be made against the city by reason of the occupation of any street, alley, sidewalk or other public place by the building or structure moved.
   “In the event that I, as principal, shall comply with the provisions of the code, including the holding of the city harmless from any claim which may be made against the city by reason of the occupation of any street, alley, sidewalk or other public place by the building or structure moved, this bond shall be void; otherwise it shall be in full force and effect.
