(A) The 2009 edition of the International Building Code is adopted and incorporated as part of this code of ordinances as fully as if set out at length herein.
(B) Except as otherwise expressly provided in this chapter, it shall be unlawful for any person to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, demolish, convert, use, occupy or maintain any building in the city contrary to or in violation of the provisions of the building code adopted in division (A) above.
