WEEDS. As used in this chapter shall mean and include any annual or perennial herbaceous plant of volunteer growth, which is not cultivated or specifically grown for human food; any high or rank growth that may conceal filthy deposits or constitute a fire hazard when dry, or any non-cultivated plant which reaches a height of eight inches.
