(A) The city may appoint and employ special police officers, deputy sheriffs and deputy game wardens to act as police officers, who shall be known as “Lake Police,” as the city may determine to be necessary to enforce the provisions of this chapter.
(B) Each officer so appointed shall have the authority to enforce the provisions of this chapter and any and all provisions of this code and other city ordinances, rules and regulations for the government, control and protection of the reservoir and the premises and all sanitary regulations and ordinances and any and all laws, ordinances, regulations and rulings of any governmental authority applicable to the premises and it shall be his or her duty to do so.
