§ 93.028 BRIBERY.
   (A)   No person shall corruptly, whether directly or indirectly, give, offer or promise to give any money or other bribe, present, reward, promise, contract, obligation or security for the payment of any money, present, reward or any other thing of value to any officer, agent, employee or representative of the city who is in charge of, controlling, supervising, governing or inspecting the premises or any part thereof or work thereon, either before or after his or her selection, appointment or qualifying for the purpose of influencing his or her act, vote, opinion, decision or judgement on any matter, question, cause or proceeding which may be pending or may come or be brought before him or her in an official or other capacity for the city.
   (B)   No person shall cause any officer, agent, employee or representative of the city to execute or perform any power vested in him or her or any duty required of him with partiality of favor, otherwise than provided by law, or as a consideration for some act done or about to be done contrary to the duty of the officer, agent, employee or representative.
