§ 91.43 RUNNING AT LARGE.
   (A)   Any person owning or having custody of a dog in the city shall keep said dog either:
      (1)   Restrained on a leash; or
      (2)   In his place of abode; or
      (3)   In a suitable doghouse; or
      (4)   On that property owned or occupied by that said owner.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any owner of a dog or person having custody of a dog, to permit or allow said dog to run at large. Any owner of a dog or person having custody of a dog that permits or allows said dog to run at large shall be guilty of violating this chapter and shall be subject to the penalty provisions of this chapter.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful for the owner or person having charge of a dog within the city to fail to promptly remove any defecation passed and deposited by such dog at any place within the city, other than on property owned by or under the control of such person.
