§ 91.40 CRUELTY.

No person shall beat, cruelly treat, torment, starve or overwork or otherwise abuse any dog in the city in any way. Any person who inhumanely beats, underfeeds, overloads, abandons or otherwise abuses any animal shall be guilty of a violation of this chapter and shall be subject to the penalty provisions of this chapter.
